About Me

As a former sportswriter/columnist for the Press of Atlantic City, I spent over 30 years covering the athletes, coaches and teams that fill the South Jersey sports landscape.

I spent the past 27 years as a beat writer for everyone’s favorite Philadelphia sports franchise. My journey with the Eagles took me to every NFL city and two Super Bowls, including their first championship in 57 years at Super Bowl LII.

In between seasons – and often during – you could find me at a high school baseball game, championship boxing match, ShopRite LPGA Classic golf tournament and even the NASCAR season-ending championship.

As a columnist, I sometimes ventured outside of sports to write about life, the victories and losses, accomplishments and events, of local people. That’s something I’ve continued to do since creating my blog a few weeks ago.

Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to be inducted into three Halls of Fame, earn three New Jersey Sportswriter of the Year awards, as well as numerous national and local honors.

Now I’m enjoying a new and exciting journey.
